In The Heat 12"

Bellevue

HGM Musik, Germany 1986

Here we go again! This is the only output of the German/Austrian group, Bellevue. Throbbing, clicking and churning; In The Heat strolls on the industrial side of synth-pop. Every track is this is solid. Perhaps I'm taking a few liberties here, but I view this as a flip-side to Tom Wolger's Stockholmssviten LP. In the eponymous track, the male vocal exclaims, "buildings here as monuments, no religion lasts forever". There is a post-modern malaise and glee going on...

"If you're in New York, one of the first things you can do is take one of the trips that goes 'round Manhattan island with a boat and sort of see the whole lot in one fell swoop".

The vinyl is graded as Very Good Plus. The sleeve is Generic. Images and audio clips are from the copy for sale.
