Diana told Monckton and other friends that she deeply regretted the Morton book and the Bashir interview for the damage they did. But she did not seem to have learned any lessons. In her last year she was privately discussing interviews with Barbara Walters of ABC and Charles Moore, editor of The Daily Telegraph. She was also considering a proposed book about her charities with Martin Bashir, who had quietly stayed in her good graces and written a number of her speeches. Both his agent, Vivienne Schuster, and Gail Rebuck, chairman and C.E.O. of Random House UK, met with Diana and made a preliminary sevenfigure deal.

As they watched, those who thought they knew her were thunderstruck. One was mystified by diana's "psychobabble."

The vinyl is graded as Very Good Plus, but the label has a name, Goupm (?), scratched out somehow. The sleeve is a Jet Star factory Generic. Images and audio clips are from the copy for sale.
