Natural Selection LP

Second Nature

Hummingbird Records, US 1987

This record features an acoustic bass, a piano, drums, "percussion", a marimba, a flute, a saxophone, a shakuhachi, a zither, a sheng, another piano, a sitar, and a kalimba. With these instruments, is it even possible to produce anything besides an organic, free-form type of exotic jazz music? Well, that's what you can expect from (David Casper-led) Second Nature's 1987 Natural Selection LP. I mislabelled the song titles when I ripped, so keep that in mind. But listen to the clips and you will hear clear-headed, early-morning jazz music.

The vinyl is plays without issue (Very Good Plus) and I would conservatively grade the sleeve Very Good due to some general wear (light staining), but still an enjoyable sleeve. Images and audio clips are from the copy for sale.
